Its been a while since I have posted, so I thought I would share my latest custom tattoo design. I am extremly happy with the results. It is very similar to the Hidden Dragon Tattoo, but this time I chose to have the dragon be a part of the weeping willow tree. On the other tattoo the dragon and the cherry blossom tree wrapped around each other. The second time around I felt much more confident. I enjoyed creating this so much that I am going to be creating tattoos on my spare time. I hope you like it. The characters represent Willow.

This is my latest acrylic painting that I completed a few weeks back. I am extremely satisfied with the results. In this painting you will notice a girl holding up her puffy colorful dress. She is walking through a dreamy forest of endless possibilities of where the path may lead her. She also looks as if she is blooming out of a a flower. This represent growth and renewal. Everyone grows as a person with every experience whether negative or positive. This is me finishing up minor details. Endless Dreams Acrylic Painting 22 x 28 inches

I worked on this new piece last night. I was experimenting with texture, color, and style. After working on it for a bit, I realized how far I have come as an artist and how much I have yet to learn. I remember when I was a little girl I would try to replicate my mom's rose drawings and now here I am years later with the same passion to evolve. I started painting about five years ago and I am enjoying every part of it. This painting is called Evolve. The budding rose in this painting represents myself as an artist and the wings coming out of the stem represents my aspiration to grow as an artist.

For the past month I have been dedicated to finishing up the semester and working on my watercolor paintings, but now that I am finally done with class I have more time to focus on my oil paintings. During the semester I have also been working on getting over my fear of formal public speaking and so I developed a painting named "Center Stage". I truly went out of my way to diminish this fear. I went out to a karaoke bar and sang "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi, participated in a runway fashion show, and chose to present my final project. My works Freedom and Broken were chosen to be a part of  an art exhibition at the Chicago Art Department. This is my first group show since I moved from Tallahassee Florida. The best part of it all was that the opening reception was on my birthday.
