Red Tree Contest

Red Tree  I am administering a contest on fineartamerica.com called Red Tree. Fineartamerica members will submit artworks of a red tree in any wet media including oils, acrylic, watercolor, and more.

I was inspired by my painting of a red tree called Fly Away With me. I was also inspired because of the symbolism that a Japanese maple tree holds.

Interested in participating or voting for an image?

First, second, and third place winners will be featured on this website on

Associated with PEACE and SERENITY of the world's elements, Japanese maple trees represent BALANCE and practicality and are called 'kito' in the Japanese language, which means 'calm,' 'rest' or 'at peace.'
