The Storm

A young flower is ready to blossom into a beautiful full blown rose.  Without warning a storm sets in with raging winds, lighting and rain. The flower weeps, believing she won’t live to see her peddles unfold.
Knowing that she is powerless to the forces of Mother Nature, she leaves her fate to the dance of the wind.
After a destructive and treacherous battle, the young rose rises triumphant above the devastating power of the storm.
She thanks Mother Nature for only taking one leaf, and granting her the courage to get through the night.
Mother Nature replies with a beautiful rainbow signaling that the storm is over, but that it won't be the last. ~By Andrea Realpe
